12/4-7 | Apron Shokai at TEATON | Reiko Takimoto / Mikako Ichimura

Aprons made from happy, treasured cloth.

Two cloth lovers gather Liberty prints, dead-stock sheets, and fabrics chosen across countries and eras; simply wearing one of their aprons lifts your spirits. The power of an apron is truly mysterious — an apron a grown woman would want to wear all day. That is what they make, with excitement.

Reiko Takimoto of Apron Shokai will be present for all four days.

During the event, Christmas swags from the Kashimo forest will also be on sale.

From the Kashimo forest: the cypress and cedar for the Christmas decorations come from the Kashimo forest in Gifu, long protected as the "Jingu Bilin" that supplies timber for Ise Shrine's Shikinen Sengu, held once every twenty years — a forest for the gods. We make our decorations from cypress and cedar shared with us from that forest, hoping to deliver the healthy energy grown in that deep forest properly to you, and to make things through which one can truly feel the natural power plants possess.
